Coach
Combine coaching expertise with AI-assisted observation and design to own children’s progress in movement, confidence, and habits, from class delivery through caregiver communication.
About Praxis
Praxis is an AI-native operating company that believes in every person's capacity to grow and builds better systems for learning. We create and operate ELA, Epic Prep, Rubric, and Playfit. In this role, you would join the Playfit team. We do not offer a hybrid work arrangement.
What You’ll Do
- Design and lead safe movement classes for children and adolescents based on the Playfit curriculum and developmental stage.
- Observe foundational fitness, skills, participation, and emotional response; record them in rubrics; and set the next goal and intervention for each learner.
- Explain changes and evidence clearly to caregivers and recommend practical ways to continue progress at home.
- Use AI to draft lesson plans, level variations, record summaries, and reports while personally validating physical safety, developmental fit, and privacy.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and movement paths and follow injury-prevention, emergency-response, child-safeguarding, and incident-reporting procedures.
- Improve coaching through demos, video or observation review, and peer feedback, then standardize proven practice as curriculum, SOPs, and coach training.
- Solve field problems with operations and product, turning repeated work into templates, automations, and tools.
- Own retention, satisfaction, referrals, and learner-growth indicators alongside class quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports science, exercise prescription, early-childhood education, child development, or a related field
- At least one recognized credential such as a Korean sports instructor license, youth sports instructor license, NSCA-CPT, CSCS, or comparable certification
- Current CPR/AED/first-aid certification, or the ability to obtain it before starting
- At least two years of coaching experience with children or adolescents in sports, physical education, or movement
- Strong fundamentals in child development, injury prevention, class safety, and caregiver communication
- A genuine commitment to children demonstrated through safety, respect, patience, and high expectations
- Work samples showing how you applied generative AI to lesson design, records, or analysis and how you validated the result
- The agency to identify a problem, propose alternatives, execute, measure, and document without waiting for instructions
Nice to Have
- Deep expertise in youth fitness, gymnastics, ball sports, sensory integration, rehabilitation, or adaptive physical education
- Experience designing curriculum, training coaches, or launching camps and new programs
- Experience with movement-assessment data, video analysis, an LMS/CRM, or no-code automation
- The ability to teach and consult in both Korean and English
Hiring Process
