What You’ll Do
- Lead English-only novel reading, writing, and debate classes reverse-designed from diagnostic data and explicit learning goals.
- Record observations, assessments, and feedback in Rubric after every class and design the next intervention for each learner.
- Use AI to create level-specific materials, questions, rubrics, exit tickets, and parent reports, while personally validating accuracy, age appropriateness, and privacy.
- Lead parent conferences in Korean and English, explaining learning changes and improvement plans with specific evidence.
- Improve teaching every week through demos, peer observation, and data review, then standardize proven practices as curriculum, templates, and SOPs.
- Work across education, product, and operations to turn recurring classroom problems into AI workflows and product requirements, and validate their impact.
- Put student safety and dignity first and follow all safeguarding and reporting procedures without exception.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
- A current TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or comparable English-teaching credential
- At least two years of study or residence in an English-speaking country
- Professional fluency in both Korean and English across teaching, writing, and parent conferences
- At least two years of English-teaching experience with children or adolescents, with concrete evidence of learner growth
- A genuine commitment to children demonstrated through safety, respect, patience, and high expectations
- Work samples showing how you used generative AI in lesson design or feedback, how you validated the output, and what improved
- The agency to find a path through ambiguity, propose alternatives, execute, validate, and document the result
- The ability to treat high standards and fast feedback as conditions for growth and improve your teaching in the open
Nice to Have
- A degree in English education, English literature, education, or child development, or a teaching license
- Experience designing novel-based reading, writing, discussion, or debate curricula
- Experience with learning analytics, LMS operations, no-code automation, or AI-agent workflows
- Experience leading curriculum, coaching teachers, or launching a new program
