Design Engineer
Own one outcome from problem definition through UX/UI, brand, growth and offline design, working prototypes and frontend implementation, launch, and measurement.
About Praxis
Praxis is an AI-native operating company that believes in every person's capacity to grow and builds better systems for learning. We create and operate ELA, Epic Prep, Rubric, and Playfit. In this role, you would join the Praxis HQ team. We do not offer a hybrid work arrangement.
What You’ll Do
- Meet students, parents, teachers, and operators directly to define the core problem, constraints, and success metrics, then propose product direction.
- Shape requirements, information architecture, user flows, UI, and interaction without waiting for a finished brief, and help set product priorities.
- Use AI coding agents and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build working prototypes and ship frontend changes at production quality.
- Connect the design system, websites, landing pages, performance creative, social and PR assets, print, signage, and spatial design across every Praxis brand.
- Instrument campaigns and products, then validate design decisions through experiments, conversion, and user behavior.
- Build AI-assisted workflows for research, copy, image, video, localization, and production while personally reviewing copyright, factual accuracy, accessibility, and brand standards.
- Turn repeated work into components, templates, plugins, automations, and guidelines that increase both speed and quality.
- Own post-launch metrics and field feedback, learning whatever discipline is required to finish the outcome.
