Curriculum, materials, assessment standards, and operating manuals are built and provided by our education team. Teaching on a proven system means more of your day goes to students than to preparation and paperwork.

What You’ll Do

• Teach phonics and Signature classes for younger elementary students using the curriculum, materials, and assessment framework built by our education team.
• Use Korean and English strategically for each learner’s age and proficiency, connecting sound-letter knowledge, decoding, authentic-text reading, speaking, and writing step by step.
• Adjust modeling, repetition, visuals, and questions carefully so children beginning English can participate safely and build repeated experiences of success.
• Record participation, understanding, and changes in reading and expression in the standard assessment framework and set the next learning goal for each student.
• Explain each student’s progress and useful next steps at home to families in clear, warm Korean.
• Take part in class observation, feedback, and instructor training, and bring recurring classroom problems back to the education team for curriculum improvement.
• Put student growth and emotional safety first and follow all safeguarding and reporting procedures without exception.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
• A current TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or comparable English-teaching credential
• Professional fluency in Korean and English for teaching, family communication, and written learner records
• At least three years of English-teaching experience with preschool or elementary students, with concrete evidence of learner growth
• A sound understanding of systematic phonics and the progression from decoding to authentic-text reading
• The ability to adjust the language and difficulty of explanations, activities, and feedback to an elementary learner’s developmental stage
• The attentiveness to notice a child’s small attempt and turn it into confidence
• The openness to treat observation and feedback as growth and to let colleagues into your classroom

Nice to Have

• A degree in English education, early-childhood education, elementary education, education, or child development, or a teaching license
• Experience teaching systematic phonics, early literacy, or authentic-text reading to elementary students
• Experience with integrated reading, speaking, and writing connected to a U.S. curriculum
• Teaching and family-communication experience in a bilingual or international-school environment
• Experience reading learner records and diagnostic data and turning them into lesson plans
